It is understanding to ‘forgive’ the churches for ‘not’ addressing homosexuality. However, do we forgive when the ONLY conversation begun in a sermon is the ‘clobber’ verses and NOTHING else? Because some kids do NOT come from a Christian home and are ‘seeking’ in our churches.

Thank you for your response. I believe forgiveness is more for us than the one we are needing to fogive. It brings us freedom when we are able to release that person (or church) into the Lord’s hands and not hold onto the bitterness and unforgiveness that can easily entangle our hearts. You are correct in your writing as some kids do NOT come from a Christian home and are ‘seeking’ in our churches. This is where we must trust the almighty work of Father God to bring them to a place of understanding and receiving His love. It breaks my heart that there are churches not presenting the full Gospel. With Jesus Christ, there is hope and healing for all and we need to make sure we are sharing that.
